Teaches responsibility.

Some errors and glitches

Foopets are the most practical virtual kittens and puppies you will find! Just like real animals, these pets get thirsty and hungry, love to play with toys and get attention, and most of all they love to be spoiled by their masters. Foopets can provide you with real companionship that will remind everyone of the kind of care, commitment, and joy that comes from owning a pet. With Foopets, you will think you have a real pet because just like real pets, these pets require consistent feeding and care patterns.

Furthermore, you will love how there are many known breeds of dog and cat to pick from such as Golden Retriever, Rottweiler, Poodle, Dalmatian, Siamese, Persian, and lots more. Just keep in mind that his game simulates reality, so if you don’t feed or care for your Foopet it may become sad, ill, or worse. To keep your Foopet healthy and happy, you can invite your friends to share in responsibility of owning pets or you can meet other Foopet users. Foopets that are loved and cared for correctly can live as many years as a real pet! You can play this game on Facebook, your iPhone, Foopets.com, and MySpace, but they have more locations being added soon.

Rules of Adoption

Give your FooPets love

Your Foopet will need much love and attention from you. Whenever you are given a chance, make sure you visit your pet so you can pet and play with it. This will not only keep the pet happy, but the bond shared between you and your pet will grow stronger the more time you spend together.

FooPets are the same as Real Pets

Your new FooPet is a real being that lives online. Your pet has its own birthday and will live anywhere from 10 to 20 years; though this will depend on how well you care for the pet. Your pet will even act differently and age with time as a real pet does.

Water and Feed your Pet Daily

You will need to feed and water your FooPet at least every 24 hours. If you must be away for a few days, a friend or other FooPets member can help you by feeding and watering the pet in your place. However, it is up to you to get care for your pet while you are gone.

Bad Things Do Happen

Just like a real kitten or puppy, your FooPet is prone to certain health issues. If you do not take proper care of your pet, your pet may not do well.

Consequences of Poor Care

Once your pet is created, it cannot be “quit” or “uninstalled”. If you get to the point where you no longer water or feed your FooPet, it will be moved to the FooShelter so it can get the care it needs. Before you adopt a FooPet, please first consider all responsibilities involved.

General Gameplay

This online world is great for helping teach you responsibility and how to care for a real virtual pet. As you play you will earn FooDollors and FooGems which can both be used to buy new pets, backgrounds to use for your pets, or even accessories for the background. The pets are made to be very realistic, so you can give the pets toys such as a Frisbee or a ball. Some dogs will really enjoy a chew toy and a walk in the park. In addition, there are messes you must clean that they make on their backgrounds (or scenes). Cats need to be fed and watered, but can also chase mice. With cats you must clean their litter boxes.

Regardless which type of animal you adopt, they can all be very entertaining and can bring someone who can’t own animals, the joy of owning their own pet. In addition, if you are interested you can breed 2 FooPets together to produce offspring. In the end, FooPets is very realistic and can provide hours of entertainment for people of all ages.

FooPets is free to play.
